Worst meal I've ever had at a hungry horse. Food not fresh. Child's veg sticks looked like been sat there for 24hrs and as for the gravy may aswell have crumbed a oxo over pie it was that dry. Shocking service and rude staff at the bar. Wouldn't recomend

Day out in cleethorpes....Came in 2nd March.for food ..waited ages at bar to even be served .think we were invisible. Ordered 2 "Epic" Sunday roasts . Got 2 glasses of diet coke with the meal.. had to take the drinks back. Glasses were filthy .was told they were old glasses and would replace with there new glasses ..waited 40mins for food .when we asked how long it would be it was bought out instantly..it had obviously been left because it wasn't hot .. it was frozen Roast potatoes. Frozen stuffing. Not proper mash.. either packet or frozen .peas and green beans were rock hard ..the turkey wasn't from a fresh joint.. it was disgusting whatever it was ..no staff came to ask how the meal was . We ate what we could stomach and left .. hence the review on here .. the worst meal we've ever had out

Arrived at the Wellows and was greeted by Cole Robinson. A lovely friendly greeting and showed us to the family room. Also works in the pub and was so lovely to us. Brilliant big tv and plenty of tea/coffee available. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and some great deals to be had. Enjoyed watching a pool tournament too which was brilliant.

Came for a walk at Cleethorpes with our dog, Jem and found this gem of a pub. Jem was allowed inside as long as we were on the tiled area and she was on a lead which is understandable.
My wife had a steak and I had the biggest mixed grill on the menu. Now normally when you have grilled pub food you end up with grissly bits and fat but not on our 2 plates. Everything was all meat (which Jem was disappointed about) hot and fresh.
The food was quickly served and was absolutely delicious.
The 2 ladies on the bar and the waitress were all lovely so if you're in Cleethorpes for a bit pop in here and if your experience was like ours you'll not be disappointed.
There's a pay and display car park straight across the road which is very convenient as well.

The rooms are a discrace, discusting bathroom, mould, broken toilet seat, broken light, broken window handle, cupboard doors don't close properly, broken tv remote, radiators don't work, stained bath, main entrance door key lock doesn't work properly, rooms look like the 70s, Very neglected

Had a lovely meal at The Wellow in Cleethorpes. The food was tasty, well-cooked, and great value for money. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a nice spot for a casual meal. A special mention to Josh, who provided excellent service—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Would definitely recommend and will be back again!
